Let’s Camp!
Flying Horse Farms makes it possible for children with serious illnesses to heal, grow, and thrive.
Family Camps serve children ages 7–15 with a serious medical illness and their immediate family members. Flying Horse Farms allows families to define their own immediate family.
“Sidekick” volunteers join each family, and help families enjoy camp to the fullest. Campers stay in a cabin with their family members and will have the option of participating in activities such as archery, boating, fishing, arts and crafts, nature, and sports and recreation throughout the weekend.
We ask that families only attend one Family Camp per year. We are happy to put your name on the waitlist for a second session but would like to serve as many families as possible. If you have questions or concerns about who is eligible for Family Camp, feel free to email .

Summer camps serve campers ages 8–15 with a serious medical illness, and each camp week is designed to meet the specific medical needs for a particular diagnosis or group of diagnoses. Campers attend camp without their families for approximately one week, will live in cabins, and participate in traditional summer camp activities under medical customized supervision. These activities include archery, boating, fishing, arts and crafts, nature, sports and recreation, overnight outpost camping and all group programs. And, as always, camps remain at no cost to families.
