Seasonal Positions | Flying Horse Farms

Every year, we rely on short-term staff members, paid and unpaid interns, and part-time employees to help keep camp up, running, squeaky clean, and environmentally green.

Seasonal staff includes cabin counselors, activity counselors, camp leaders, seasonal nurses, kitchen staff and other administrative roles. We hope you’ll consider joining us for a magical summer of dancing after dinner, singing the silliest songs and transforming hundreds of lives–including your own.

Program Team: Program Team members will be on site Friday through Sunday. They will help facilitate group activities and programs, and ensure families have supplies in their cabins throughout the weekend.

Activity Team: Activity Team members are responsible for facilitating all activities at their assigned area. From the waterfront to Arts and Crafts, these team members keep camp running. Activity counselors also have the important job of making sure that all campers can participate in all activities. They are responsible for setting up, leading the activity, and cleaning afterwards.

Lifeguards: Lifeguards will work lakeside or poolside any time that water activities are open to campers and families. Lifeguards can choose to volunteer for an entire session, for a day, or for a shift during a family camp. Lifeguards must be at least 16 years old and must provide proof of current lifeguard certification and current CPR for the Professional Rescuer with AED certification.
